Education

  • BBA/MBA in Marketing from a reputed university.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Retail Management or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 12 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Retail Store,Group of Companies,Chain shop,Healthcare/Lifestyle product

Additional Requirements

    • Preferably experience in working with a reputed Footwear Brand.

    • Proven experience as a Retail Operations Manager or in a similar managerial role for a minimum of 5 (five) years.

    • Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service principles.

    • The ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team effectively.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    • The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

    • The ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

    • Understanding of inventory management, supply chain, and retail technology.

    Responsibilities & Context

    A Retail Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a retail business to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. They are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including managing staff, developing and implementing operational policies, monitoring inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.

    • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

    • Recruiting, training, and supervising store staff, including scheduling, performance management, and providing guidance and support.

    • Creating and enforcing procedures to optimize store operations and ensure compliance with company standards.

    • Monitoring stock levels, managing inventory flow, and ensuring accurate inventory tracking and promotional activities.

    • Addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

    • Managing store budgets, tracking expenses, and analyzing financial performance and ensuring profitability.

    • Analyzing sales data, developing strategies to improve sales, and collaborating with the marketing team on promotions and events.

    • Demonstrated leadership prowess in team management, fostering employee growth, and minimizing attrition.

    • Maintaining regular communication with area managers, outlet managers and Sales Promoters for achieve business targets.

    • Identify locations for new stores, help for execute new projects by expand/relocate/consolidate stores as per company plan.

    • Ensured timely updates of licenses and other statutory documents, guaranteeing compliance with legal requirements.

    • Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

    • Provide market intelligence data and develop the outlet/store sales force.

    • Providing regular reports and presentations to senior management on operational performance.

    • Carry out any directives given by the Management, for betterment of the organization.
